Shop Tek platform terms of use
These terms govern the relationship between Shop Tek and a merchant who creates an account to run an independent online store. They use direct language so you understand what the platform provides, what remains your responsibility, and how subscription, data, and external provider integrations work. By using the service or creating a store, you agree to these terms and the related privacy policy.

1. The service and its scope
Shop Tek is a multi-tenant software platform that helps a merchant create a storefront and manage products, prices, inventory, customers, orders, delivery, and documents. The store remains an independent business under the merchant name. Shop Tek is not a marketplace aggregating sellers, a commercial agent for them, or a party to the sales contract between merchant and shopper. Platform capabilities may change to improve quality, compliance, or security. Where practical, we give reasonable notice before removing a paid core capability. Features described as later phase or requiring an external provider are not promised as live merely because an interface appears in the product.
2. Account eligibility and accurate information
The person creating an account must be authorized to represent the business and provide current, accurate identity, email, and store information. The owner is responsible for invitations and roles granted to team members. Sharing the owner account is not an acceptable permanent access method for several people. You are responsible for protecting passwords and additional verification methods and for notifying support if unauthorized access is suspected. Do not send passwords, API keys, or provider secrets through a public form. We may request reasonable verification before a sensitive account change or data request.
3. Trial, subscription, and billing
Service begins with a 14-day free trial that does not require a card. After trial, the store needs a current annual subscription to continue using admin. The approved annual price is shown in the store market currency before subscription, and Shop Tek does not deduct a percentage from store sales. Messaging, payment, invoice, or shipping providers may charge independently when activated. Those costs are shown separately and do not become a sales commission. Product, seat, and quota limits follow the plan offer and subscription configuration enforced by the system. Custom domains remain unavailable until the production TLS lifecycle is enabled.
4. Shopper payments and orders
Shopper funds move to the merchant through methods the merchant enables. The product supports COD and reviewed manual transfer in each launch market, with optional order-specific CliQ in Jordan. Transfer verification remains an operational step until an approved bank integration exists. Shop Tek does not hold shopper funds on the merchant behalf. You remain responsible for accurate product description, price, availability, cancellation and return policy, fulfilment, tax, invoicing, and consumer rights. Order states, receipts, and records assist operations but do not transfer the merchant legal obligations for the sale to the platform.
5. External providers and integrations
The service may connect with messaging, payment, e-invoice, or shipping providers. Live activation can require merchant accounts, credentials, and approvals, and every external service remains subject to provider terms and availability. A provider interface in Shop Tek does not guarantee provider approval or continued operation. The JoFotara path sits behind a replaceable provider but live submission needs ISTD credentials. Live WhatsApp sending needs a provider account and approved templates. A live card gateway and automated carrier network are not launch promises until their providers are approved.
6. Content, compliance, and acceptable use
The merchant retains rights in store content and grants Shop Tek the technical permission needed to host, display, and process it to provide the service. You must have rights to images, marks, and text and may not sell prohibited goods, infringe others’ rights, or make misleading claims. You may not send spam, attempt to bypass store isolation or roles, scan the service harmfully, upload malicious software, disrupt infrastructure, or use customer data for an unconsented purpose. The merchant remains responsible for tax, invoicing, privacy, returns, and other rules applying to the business.
7. Data, export, and suspension
The owner can export store data through the designated path while the service is available. Export before final termination if you need an independent copy. Some records may remain for a legally required period or to resolve a dispute and protect the service under the privacy policy. Access may be suspended after a non-payment grace period, for material abuse, or to contain a security risk. We try to give notice and a reason unless law or security prevents it. Suspension is not immediate deletion but may lead to termination under notice and policy.
8. Availability, liability, and changes
We build for reliable service but do not promise absolute availability or that software can be free from every defect or attack. Downtime may occur for maintenance, incident response, or because of a provider or network outside our control. We work to restore service and reduce impact proportionately. To the extent law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses caused by merchant business decisions, merchant content, or external provider failure. These terms do not exclude liability that law does not permit us to exclude. We may update the text and publish its date with appropriate notice for material change.
